After staying tight-lipped on the topic for months, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. has finally announced its fall and winter concert lineup.

The 40-show schedule, announced Monday, includes The Roots (four times), Fiona Apple, Ben Folds Five, My Morning Jacket (three times), The Moody Blues, moe., David Gray, Regina Spektor, Al Green, Steve Miller Band and Herbie Hancock.

The headliner for the opening night, slated for Sept. 4, has yet to be announced.

“We are in discussions with an iconic artist who would be a fitting way to welcome live music back to the Capitol Theater,” Shapiro said in a press release.

Once famous for bringing legendary rock ‘n roll acts such as the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead to suburban Westchester County, the venue ceased hosting concerts in 1976 after a village ordinance banned live music after 1 a.m. The venue experienced a brief resurgence in the 1990s (including an appearance from David Bowie and the Rolling Stones for an MTV special in 1997), but it has focused mostly on hosting private events.

That changed earlier this year when Peter Shapiro, an owner of Brooklyn Bowl, struck a deal with The Cap owner Marvin Ravikoff to produce 100 shows a year there following the completion of a $2 million renovation.
